When using Compiler:-Compile, why is Mac or Linux Maple 2020 or 2021 throwing the error
Error, (in Compiler:-Compile) possible installation problem: GNU C compiler (gcc) not found in your command search path (PATH).
You will need to restart Maple after ensuring that gcc is installed and adjusting your PATH environment variable.
Checking for the gcc version on the system should indicate that the system is missing certain command line tools (such as xcrun)
- Installing command line tools (with xcode-select or similar for Mac) with the command
And reloading Maple will allow gcc to be found in the search path.
