If when using Maple in Matlab you receive an error similar to:
Invalid MEX-file 'C:\Program
Files\MATLAB\R2018a\toolbox\maple\maplemex.mexw64': Missing dependent shared
'maplecr.dll' required by 'C:\Program
This is caused by a conflict preventing key files from the Maple to Matlab connector being moved to the Matlab folder.
The workaround is copy/pasting the following dlls from the bin folder in the Maple install directory to the toolbox folder for Maple in the Matlab install directory. For Maple 2019 and Matlab 2018b these would be:
C:\Program Files\Maple 2019\bin.X86_64_WINDOWS
Alternatively you can download a zipped folder of these dlls from here.
