Purchase codes are needed to activate Maple, MapleSim and other Maplesoft products.
Network vs Standalone Purchase codes:
- A Network purchase code is used with a license server to distribute licenses across a network. For instructions on configuring a license server please see here.
- A Standalone purchase code is used to activate Maple on a single computer with a local license file.
- Both Standalone and Network purchase codes will draw from the same pool of licenses.
Student and Personal Licenses will just receive one standalone purchase code for use to activate their products.
Academic licenses will receive a pair of Network/Stand Alone codes for use on the school campus. These code may be able to be used multiple times depending on the number of licenses purchased. Academic licenses may also purchase additional Home Use codes to be used by students and staff on their personal home computers.
Commercial licenses will generally receive a pair of Network/Stand Alone codes for use to activate either Stand Alone or Network licenses. These code may be able to be used multiple times depending on the number of licenses purchased.
