Your Maple Purchase Code is the code you use to activate Maple.
There are a few ways to determine your Purchase Code:
- For site license administrators or main contacts of Academic or Commercial Licenses you can find your purchase code by going to the Maplesoft Customer Center from here you can login with your Maplesoft Account (this is the same account you use to access Maple Primes, The Maple Cloud, and the Maple Companion App).
Once you have logged in you'll see
Clicking "Licenses & Purchase Codes" will bring you to a page where you can get download links and purchase codes for Maplesoft products purchased under your e-mail. -
Inside the "Order Confirmation" email or "Information about your Maplesoft Entitlement" (If you are an EMP customer) e-mail from Customer Service. Your Purchase Code should be given in the following section.
Note: The order confirmation or Entitlement e-mail is sent to the e-mail address of the person who purchases Maple.
Note 2: If you have EMP your Order Confirmation won't contain your purchase codes. They will be sent each year with your Entitlement e-mail. - For students who received Maple through a promo code or access code you'll be able to find the purchase code in the "Your Maple Student Edition Order" email. In the following section.

Executing the following code inside Maple:
kernelopts( license[serial] );
- The Purchase Code should be mentioned on the "About Maple" page:
"Help" > "About Maple".
- Inside either the readme.txt or soapfile.dat files located in:
Windows:
C:\Program Files\Maple 2020\license
Mac:
/Library/Frameworks/Maple.framework/Versions/2020/license/
Linux:$HOME/maple2020/license/
For License servers these files can be found in:
Windows:C:\Program Files\Maple Network Tools\activate
Mac:
$HOME/Applications/Maple_Network_Tools/activate/
Linux:
