This glitch is likely the result of a Macintosh bug for systems with a language set to a non-English language. Upgrading to 10.13.1 should resolve the issue, but if not, please perform the following steps:
-
Navigate, in Finder, to /Applications/Maple 2020.
-
Right-click Maple 2020.app, select "Show Package Contents, and choose "Contents".
-
Open the /Info.plist file.
-
Replace
<key>CFBundleAllowMixedLocalizations</key> <string>true</string>
with the following:<key>CFBundleAllowMixedLocalizations</key> <string>false</string>
-
Save the file. If you encounter permissions errors, please drag the file to your Desktop, make and save the change, and then drag the file back into the "Contents" folder of Maple 2020.app.
Note: If you are uncomfortable with making this change yourself, or if doing so results in an error, you can contact support@maplesoft.com for a copy of a properly modified Info.plist file.
