Maplet Launcher app is not working

If you try to open the Maplet Launcher, you will likely receive an error message claiming that Maple is not installed (possibly with a reference to an older version of Maple). Unfortunately, the Maplet Launcher is not an independent program like Maple is; it is merely an app designed to open Maplet files.
